Mulberries

Soft, very sweet fruits melting in your mouth, excellent for diabetics. Trees grow up to a dozen meters tall. Leaves may vary: from oval to lobed/deeply cut and are often very large.

Blooming occurs in April/May. Fruits are elongated and similar to blackberry. The plant tolerates up to a dozen degrees below zero. It is recommended to cover young plants.

Fruits contain a lot of sugars. They are tasty when eaten raw and excellent for making preserves.
